Due to commitments both in and out of the sport, I have been unable to devote the time to the britmx site that I know it deserves. Also, our loss of status as the official site for the British Motocross Championships has resulted in less information being fed to us from the teams and governing body.Because of this I shall be stepping back from the site while  we decide in what direction to take the site in the future.

On a personal note I would like to thank all of you for the support you have given the site over the past seven years. I would particularly like to thank the forum moderators and regular contributors who have helped to keep the britmx community going. For this reason it has been decided that, although I do not have the time to devote to keeping the site continually updated, the britmx forums must continue.

During my time within the sport I have seen the best and the worst of human nature. I cannot think of a single rider for whom I do not have the greatest respect; from the local club guy pumping his hard earned cash into a clapped out stroker, to the dedicated pros who push their bodies to the limit in a bid to reach the top. I am also continually amazed at the conditions the fans will endure to support "our" sport. That's the good side of the sport... I leave you to decide where the bad bits are.

Thanks to all of you, and I hope to see you around at the odd circuit throughout the year as we continue our work in other areas in the sport.
